Charlie and Miki Chastain began working with the disabled orphans and street children of Western Russia since 2001, when they first learned of the ministry opportunity through St. James UMC in Athens, GA. Since that first trip, they returned several times on short-term opportunities, and continuously sought the Lord’s guidance on the possibility of moving to St. Petersburg on a full-time basis.
In 2006, the Chastain’s were commissioned by the Mission Society (TMS Global) for full-time work in Russia and the former Soviet Union. After living in St. Petersburg, they moved in October, 2011 to Tallinn, Estonia.
In addition to their at-risk children’s work, the Chastains now engage in arts ministry, refugee care and healing prayer throughout Europe.
Thank you for visiting our site!
God bless on your move to Russia.
Charlie – I cannot seem to get you email address. Hopefully this will get to you so we can update you on the coming trip to St Petersburg.-Rick
